Showa Retro × Melon Soda Green Camisole & Pants Set
Fresh, nostalgic, and playfully Japanese.
This one-of-a-kind camisole and wide-leg pants set features a vibrant “Melon Soda Green,” inspired by the iconic bright green melon soda found in old-fashioned Japanese cafés.
The main fabric is vintage Showa-era Japanese seersucker, with its distinctive lightly puckered texture.
For the camisole, I paired the Melon Soda Green seersucker with vintage Showa-era tenugui that I hand-dyed with traditional Japanese persimmon tannin (kakishibu).
The kakishibu gives the old tenugui a warm, earthy depth while preserving its nostalgic Japanese lettering and charming graphics. Against the vivid green, the aged textile creates an unexpected and playful contrast between past and present.
A little piece of Showa-era nostalgia, transformed into something new.

昭和レトロ × メロンソーダ色 キャミソール＆パンツ セットアップ
どこか懐かしく、ちょっと楽しい。
昭和の喫茶店のメロンソーダを思わせる鮮やかなグリーンが目を惹く、キャミソール＆ワイドパンツのセットアップです。
ベースには、ぽこぽことした独特の凹凸が涼しげな昭和レトロのヴィンテージ・サッカー生地を使用。
キャミソールにはさらに、昭和のヴィンテージ手ぬぐいを柿渋染めし、メロンソーダ色のサッカー生地と組み合わせました。
柿渋によって深みを増した手ぬぐいには、昔の文字やチャーミングなイラストが残り、鮮やかなグリーンとのコントラストが楽しい一着に仕上がっています。
昭和の喫茶店を思わせるメロンソーダ色と、時を重ねた手ぬぐい。
懐かしさの中に、今のファッションとして楽しめる遊び心を詰め込みました。
