Once Vintage. Now the Spotlight.
This one-of-a-kind dress is upcycled from Showa-era (1926–1989) vintage Japanese fabrics — a sento (public bathhouse) noren curtain, candy store and tailor shop tenugui towels, and deadstock textiles.
Dyed with natural persimmon tannin (kakishibu), each piece tells its own nostalgic story.
Paired with a detachable lace collar, it transforms into a charming “retro maid” look.
The noren says “Thank you for your bath,” and the sleeve features the nostalgic “Milk Shampoo” print.
The sunflower-patterned noren is an exceptionally rare find.
どんなに古い布も主役になれる。
昭和レトロ（1926–1989）の銭湯♨️ののれん、キャンディーストア、テイラー洋品店、ガラス屋の手ぬぐい、そしてデッドストック生地をアップサイクルして、ワンピースに仕立てました。
柿渋で染め上げ、時を重ねた布たちが再び輝きます。
つけ襟を合わせると、どこか懐かしい“レトロなメイドさん”のような雰囲気に。
のれんには「毎度ご入浴ありがとうございます」、袖には「ミルクシャンプー」の文字。
そして、花柄ののれんは今ではとても珍しい一枚です。
